Time is short.  Only ONE week away!  The Douglas County fair needs your quilt entries.  We want to make it an extra special show since it’s the first year as an independent fair and not part of River City Roundup.

Entries can be made online at www.douglascountyfair.org  until July 17.  The extension office will be open for quilt drop off on Sunday, July 17 from 10 am – 2 pm.  Drop off and check in at the Crossroads Mall 7400 Dodge St (west entrance) on Wed July 20 9 am – 6 pm.  There is a $5.00 entry fee for up to 20 quilts.  This can be paid on line at http://paypal.me/douglascountyfair or by mail to Douglas County Fair POB 4642, Omaha, NE 68104.

There are volunteer times available for white gloving, helping with the kids’ table, as well as intake on the 20th and judging on the 21st.  If you have any time available, your help would be greatly appreciated.  Also during release time July 24 9 am – 3 pm.  It take a lot of hands and teamwork to make this happen.
