We had a
fantastic time at the Des Moines Quilt Show!
As
advertised, there was a mini-silent auction, raffle quilts for both
Des Moines and Iowa, a wide variety of vendors, excellent lectures,
over 500 quilts and good company. There is nothing on earth as fun
loving as a bus full of quilters - stitching the miles away.
Iowa Machine Shed restaurant was
fantastic and, fortunately for them, we were a little tired from the
show. We managed to get in, eat HUGE MEALS and get on the road to
Omaha before the Saturday night crowd arrived.
We had multiple photographers on
the trip and their pictures will be added to this page as they are
received. We had a really good time. |
