Challenge® will be displayed in one venue, including all 37

This exhibit will showcase antique, traditional and contemporary
quilts, dolls, clothing items, and other needle art
incorporating a wide array of techniques. The show will also
have vendors, demonstrations, classes, and door prizes. Featured
artist is Christine Dabbs, who will also be teaching a 2 day
post show workshop. Special guest artists Melody Randal, Cookie
Warner, Louisa Smith, Cindy Brick, Sara Brown and David Taylor.

with Christine Dabbs
Christine will be teaching a two day seminar on Stumpwork, the
art of raised and textured embroidery. This class will feature
extensive demonstration (projected on a screen for easier
viewing) and there will be some hands on practice of basic
techniques like couched tree trunks, needle woven leaves, silk
wrapped beads, etc.
Christine is a widely known and highly respected
instructor/author who rarely teaches, we are confident that this
class will fill quickly, so please get your registration in
early. Cost: $95 for both days, please
make checks payable to Christine Dabbs. A kit with basic
supplies and fibers will be available for purchase
