Join us for a fun-filled evening at OQG’s Annual Holiday Party on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the German American Society.  Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are $25.00 per person and will be available for purchase at the October 9^th general meeting.  The evening begins with opportunities to vote on your favorite stocking, purchase tickets for the mini-raffle, and share some holiday cheer with fellow OQG members.  The Caring Friends Auction will follow dinner and you will have an opportunity to bid on beautiful quilts and handmade items.  All proceeds from this event benefit the Children’s Emergency Fund.   We hope you’ll join in the festivities!

Due to the overwhelming response to the registration for Bonnie Hunter classes, we have chosen to do a lottery to accommodate as many members as possible.

Registration forms will be available at the 2 Programs tables on May 8 at 6 p.m. as originally planned. (see this post for details)  You can download the registration form now and have it ready to bring with you to the meeting.

All other rules still apply. First admissions will go to 2017-2018 guild members who have renewed their membership for the next year. Please note we are only accepting registration payments at this time. If you wish to order supplies, we will collect that later, once we have our class lists.

Registrations mailed in must be postmarked by May 22, 2018. You will be contacted by May 31st if you have secured a seat in one of the classes. If classes have not filled by then, we will begin taking outside registrations.

If you do not get in a class, we will return your payment as soon as possible.

Omaha Quilters’ Guild is excited to tell you that Bonnie Hunter will be coming to our guild in the fall.  She will be teaching 2 classes.  On October 8th, she will teach “Tropical Twist” and on October 9th, she will be teaching “Box Kite”.  On the evening of the 9th, Bonnie will entertain us with a Lecture / Trunk show followed by a Meet & Greet.

Because of Bonnie’s popularity, we are only letting Omaha Quilters’ Guild members sign up for her class.  Members cost is $50.  Members may only sign up for 1 of her 2 classes.  In the event that the 36 spots do not fill per class, we will take non-members for a cost of $100.

Sign up begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. on May 8th at the German American Society before our Guild meeting. 3717 S. 120th St. Omaha, NE 68144.  Payment must be made at the time of sign up, no exceptions.  You must be present to sign up!  You may not sign up for a friend or hold a friend’s place in line.  If you would like to take both classes, your name will be put on a waiting list & if her classes do not fill up, you will be contacted.
